Preserving and Expanding the CENTCOM Memorial
Located at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, the existing CENTCOM Memorial has long served as a place of remembrance for those connected to U.S. Central Command.
The Duty Honor Sacrifice Memorial Foundation is working to enhance and expand the memorial experience through new sculptures, architectural improvements, lighting, historical elements, and tribute features designed to create a more meaningful and immersive place of reflection for future generations.
The upgraded memorial will continue honoring CENTCOM’s history while introducing new elements dedicated to Duty, Honor, and Sacrifice.
Preserving the Legacy of Service
The memorial enhancement project will introduce three life-sized bronze sculptures representing Duty, Honor, and Sacrifice beneath illuminated architectural shade sails within the existing CENTCOM Memorial plaza.
Additional upgrades include:
- Enhanced lighting throughout the memorial
- Updated operational area map installation
- Historical walkway elements
- Expanded military representation
- Tribute walls recognizing service and sacrifice
